FocusSnap (“the Extension”) respects your privacy.
1. Information Collection
FocusSnap does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information or browsing history with external servers or third parties.
All settings and preferences are stored locally within the user's browser using Chrome's storage API.
This may include:
- Focus goals
- Warning timer settings
- User-defined distracting websites
- Snooze settings
2. Data Usage
The Extension only uses browser permissions required for its core functionality.
Permissions are used as follows:
- storage
Used to save user settings locally in the browser.
- tabs
Used to detect the currently active tab and determine whether the user is visiting a distracting website defined in their settings.
- scripting
Used to display the on-screen warning overlay when needed.
- host permissions (<all_urls>)
Required so the Extension can function on websites selected by the user.
3. External Communication
FocusSnap does not send data to external servers.
The Extension does not:
- use analytics services
- use tracking technologies
- use advertising networks
- collect personally identifiable information
4. Third-Party Services
FocusSnap does not integrate with third-party services that collect user data.
5. Data Security
Because all settings remain locally within the user's browser, users maintain control over their information.

This Privacy Policy may be updated in the future. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
